Eve at Good Enough had a little “husband haiku” challenge, and I like to accept challenges (I did, after all, marry one)!!
Here’s my haiku about my wonderful husband…
Tall dark and handsome
Strong but gentle, proud but deep
He understands me
Here’s Mr. Routine with our babies, Big Boy and Poopy Girl!
Mr. Routine and Me on our wedding day, December 4, 2004.

My hubby and I were reading this together and he made a VERY inappropriate haiku, funny as all shiznit though! But I have a clean one,
Tall, strong and loving
Many years, still rocks my world
The love of my life
Fun stuff…The girls wrote poems at the library this weekend for National Poetry month, they just rhymed words but very cute!!

That is beautiful, seven wonderful adjectives and a fantastic verb. If you write anything bad about him on your blog, we’ll take his side.

Kendra – Come on, let’s hear the inappropriate one! Your “clean” one is beautiful, though. Thanks for sharing. And how cute about your girls’ poems!! I love kids’ poetry.
Chrissy – Thanks!!
Eve – It was fun! Thanks for starting it!
momlovesbeingathome – Thanks so much!! It was a wonderful day.
jan – Haha!! OK, I will be extra nice, even when he annoys me!! Most of the time he’s a total sweetie, though. I’m lucky.

You showed up on my blog. You don’t really call her Poopy Girl, do you? Perhaps PG?
Great haiku. I just retired the friendly banter haiku on my blog cookingwithdee.net.
My husband and I wish you a happy life together with whatever your dogs names are. We have one of our own who’s a very special girl though we do call her “noodle-head” from time to time. Dee
