I don't want to do it! I am 30 and I only have half my wisdom teeth out, the other to are impacted into bone, and causing some bad cavities to the teeth in front. When I had my first two out I was pregnant and they couldn't even use a strong novicane. Those two were easy, but the recovery was hard. Let me know how it goes becuase if you can do it maybe I can! If they say you are "old" to have them out - I am WAY over the hill! haha! (I'm 35 and they actually did tell me I was a lot older than most and my recovery would probably be slower - which it was.) For the first round I was under general anesthesia and it was fabulous!! I wouldn't recommend any other way. Last summer, when I just had one out, I couldn't justify spending the money on the ansthesia for one tooth but it was much easier to go to sleep and then wake up and it was done! My biggest advice is do EVERYTHING they tell you (or actually what they tell you NOT to do) for dry socket. Sometimes you can do everything right and still get it (which happened to me) but, trust me - you don't want it! When I had the three out I didn't have it but with the one I did and I had more pain with that one than with the other three combined!
